Living Souls is a Glasgow-based independent Scotch whisky bottler founded in 2024 by industry veterans John Torrance, Jamie Williamson, and Calum Leslie. Drawing on decades of experience at companies like Douglas Laing, Tullibardine, and Loch Lomond, the trio set out to create limited-edition whiskies that highlight individuality, natural character, and craftsmanship — all bottled without chill filtration or added color.
Taste
This 17-year-old North British, matured in red wine hogsheads, transports you to the
Scottish countryside at sunset, where late summer fruits hang heavy on the trees. The nose
opens with caramel biscuits, stewed fruit and crumbly tablet. The palate brings sticky
toffee pudding, dried fruits and lotus Biscoff (a caramelized Belgian shortbread cookie),
with a touch of cinnamon spice. The finish lingers with a gentle orchard fruit, sweetness
that slowly fades into the evening air.
