Greg Swartz, the Director of The Water of Life, joins Rascal + Thorn to collaborate once again for a special “longer” weekend that includes distillery visits, bespoke tastings, the premiere of his new Docu-Series on Independent Bottlers and the just-announced, new Independent Spirits Festival!!
Greg will be joined by both Holly Seidewand and Charles Grabitzky as co-leaders on this special tour. This will be our third collaboration tour with Greg, and we are super excited for his new Whisky Festival that he has created along with Aquavitae (Roy Duff) and whisky writer David Stirk. Not only that, his new Docu-Series on Independent Bottlings will be screened and we will attend the premiere.
This 4-night tour is filled with special distillery visits and bespoke experiences!
Whisky plans include day trips to visit distilleries including Rosebank and Loch Lomond for special experiences. Attached to these days will be visits with different Independent Bottlers to truly deep-dive into their styles of bottling. This will be followed by curated meals and tastings in the evenings that lead up to the Premiere release of Greg’s new Docu-Series focused on the bottlers that we will be meeting!
And to top it all off, we will take part in the Independent Spirits Festival on Saturday, March 15th. This tour will be based in Edinburgh for its entirety, so no packing up and moving along. We love Edinburgh for its beauty and special charm.
Each evening will include dining and dramming at various venues, and will be curated to make for a very special 4 nights. We end the tour with the Independent Spirits Festival in Leith, where we can sample from many great distilleries and bottlers, and taste expressions that are not found anyplace else.

A deposit of $1495.00 is due to secure a place on the trip. Reservations are taken on a first-come / first-serve basis.
Single Supplement (a single having their own room) is available. The single supplement cost is an additional $600.
Final payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the tour.
