Description
The Uncharted Whisky Company is an independent whisky bottler located in Fintry, Scotland, operated by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. They both came from the drinks industry and wanted to bottle their own whisky under this new brand. All of their releases are named after famous musicians, songs, and albums.
Taste
This is minimal intervention whisky. Uncharted bottled batch UC067 at natural cask strength with no colouring and no chill filtration. The natural variation in colour, flavour, and strength is the whole point. What the casks gave, the bottle keeps.
Distilled on June 27, 2015 and bottled in August 2026. 565 bottles from first fill bourbon barrels of the same spirit, vatted together for this one bottling. This is Bowmore stripped back to its essentials: salt, cereal sweetness, honey, gentle peat, and oak.
