Description

Co-founders Michael Lahalih and John Pals have been best friends for quite some time due to their passion for Bourbon and cinema. In fact, the Lucky 7 namesake is derived from the infamous Stage 7 in Hollywood, CA, where some of the greatest movies in cinema history were filmed. The warehouse-sized stage produced so many award-winning films that the industry started calling it “Lucky Stage 7.” You can actually watch short-release videos with a QR code on the back of each bottle label.

** this is a beautiful whiskey and has been sitting cooped up in a barrel in Kentucky for over 14 years. We noticed after trying it multiple times (twist our arm) that this whiskey evolves massively as you let it sit out. We are talking for 30+ minutes. Please take your time with this bottle and enjoy.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Leather and damp oak. It smells like you’re in the rickhouse on a damp, hot day and you’re sniffing all of the recently decanted barrels. Peanuts, chocolate, and caramel-covered apples. The palate is super chalky and mouth coating with more spice, licorice, dark chocolate, and chocolate-covered espresso beans. There is a lot of this dry, chai and peppermint tea spice in there which lingers on the finish.

Charles’ Tasting Notes: The nose is cherry cola, oak, mint, and cocoa. The palate has vanilla, cherry, peppermint, and oak while the finish is long, buttery, and rich with baking spices.
