They are truly an “American Independent Bottler” and source rare and special whiskies from all over the USA. Their goal is to shine a light on whiskies you may not have seen or tasted before through single casks and blends. They bottle American Single Malts, Bourbons, and Ryes.

Lost Lantern’s first-ever release from the acclaimed J. Rieger & Co. in Kansas City, one of the most ambitious distilleries in the Midwest, this is a hazmat single cask of their Missouri-distilled rye whiskey at 7 years old. Available exclusively to NYS retailers.

Brand Tasting Notes: It has a soft and creamy nose, with notes of oak, leather, and chocolate mints. The palate is grassy and minty, with robust oak, a powerful heat, and mint chocolate chip ice cream notes. Complex and deep, this is a truly powerful rye whiskey.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Dark-semi sweet baking chocolate, cocoa powder, burnt chai tea, some vegetal qualities as well followed by nougat and a sweet earthiness.
