Living Souls is a Glasgow-based independent Scotch whisky bottler founded in 2024 by industry veterans John Torrance, Jamie Williamson, and Calum Leslie. Drawing on decades of experience at companies like Douglas Laing, Tullibardine, and Loch Lomond, the trio set out to create limited-edition whiskies that highlight individuality, natural character, and craftsmanship — all bottled without chill filtration or added color.
Taste
This bold ‘Williamson’ is a teaspooned (Laphroaig) 13 -year-old Islay blended malt, matured in refill
bourbon barrels. Each sip transports you to a windswept cove as dusk, where driftwood
crackles on a campfire and the sea mist hangs heavy in the air. The scent of smoked
almonds and bright lemon dances with a briny whisper of iodine. On the palate, waves of
smoke and citrus collide, capturing the wild untamed coastline.
