Since 1865 Glenfarclas has been owned and managed by just one family, the Grants of Glenfarclas. To this day Glenfarclas is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to remain family-owned and managed. Now in the hands of the sixth generation of the family, the Grants are known for making a classic, sherried, Speyside style whisky.
Taste
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose is complex with distinctive butterscotch, sherried fruit. The palate is big, full-flavored with excellent balance, and develops slowly full of sherry sweet malty tones. Hints of spice and sherry sweetness.
