Dràm Mòr is an independent spirits bottler established in 2019 by husband and wife team Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald. The company started as an export agency for Scottish brands, but as demand for independent, high-quality spirits increased, they decided it was time to venture into the world of independent bottling.

“Ruadh Maor” is the name given to peated whisky distilled at Glenturret. Glenturret makes unpeated and peated single malt and releases it under its own brand name. It is quite uncommon to find this distillery in independent bottlers. Glenturret claims to be the oldest working distillery in Scotland although that’s difficult to say for certain with how record keeping was 200+ years ago. They are a Highland Distillery that was recently sold to the Lalique Group after previously being owned by Edrington, acting as the home of the Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Teriyaki beef jerky, blueberry fruit punch, sweetened green tea. Smoked fruits on a grill, grilled turkey, a little black licorice, anise, smoke on the late finish. Soot on the finish as well. With water, it is sweeter.
