Dram Hunters is a fairly new independent bottler but don’t be fooled! Behind this brand are some big hitters in the Scotch and independent bottling world. Founded by Raj Sabharwal and two of his friends, Jane and Bill. Raj also imports Blackadder, Murray McDavid, Ingelred, Rest & Be Thankful, Amrut, and many other fantastic brands. They have good palates for sure and we’re excited to see their latest releases.

Rare Single Cask Ledaig – Double Matured: Aged in Bourbon Refill – then Finished for 3 years in Diamond Guyana Rum Cask

This peated single malt is double-matured to develop an additional layer of complexity. This spectacular whisky was first aged in an Ex-Bourbon cask for 11 years. We then transferred the spirit to our 94-point Gold Award-winning 14 YO Diamond Guyana Rum Cask to finish it a further 3 years. Non-chill filtered, no color added, limited to 178 bottles. Show your selfless side and share this whisky and a few laughs with someone you want to know how good a whisky can be.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Buttered and toasted raisin bread, spicy sea brine, citrus, and vanilla cream. The peat hits later on the finish with more brine, burnt rubber, pepper, and vanilla.
