Wm Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 but moved to Campbeltown in the 1970s. Cadenhead’s specializes in bottling single-cask or small-batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world. They are under the same ownership as Springbank and Kilkerran Distillery in Campbeltown.
Taste
It is from an undisclosed Orkney distillery, probably Highland Park. The only over option is Scapa Distillery and that is rare to find Scapa in independent bottlers.
Brand Tasting Notes: Nose of budding gorse, custard creams, heather honey, and stroopwafels.
