There used to be many bottlers and blenders throughout Ireland but it is a bit of a lost tradition. Two Stacks is a superb modern blender and bottler. They use a mixture of single grain, single malt and pot still style whiskeys for their blends and typically bottle at natural cask strength.

Taste

This Blender’s Cut Release has the following components which are then finished in French Oak casks that previously held Apricot Brandy.

80% grain whiskey matured in virgin oak and Bourbon casks

10% double distilled malt matured in Bourbon casks

8% pot still style whiskey matured in Oloroso Sherry butts

2% peated malt matured in Bourbon casks
